Update:

Sorry all... haven't been on or posted in a long while so, I'll give you the update.

Spring semester ended and I rocked the casbah. Unlike Fall during spring i didn't have my head up my ass and was able to bare down and concintrate on the tasks at hand. So I did very well.

Spring/summer:
Was home for a brief weekend (don't gime crap if i didn't see you i was in town for a good friends graduation) then closed out finals. Went to vegas with the group, was a blast as always, then back here for 6 weeks of summer school.
Met a girl. Was initially sucessfull, then... just couldn't get into it at all. Still a too soon for me i guess. Not like I'm in a rush or taking anything like that seriously anymore. I've got some things in life I want to do, and I'm not bout to sacrifice those.
On that front overall I've gotten over it for the most part. Things happin, people do what they want, and we move on. I understand. I always understand. Still... i wouldn't put a certin someone within arms reach of me anytime soon.

The grad school process starts soon. Breaking it down into two possiablities. First: Applying to 4 school. American University of Beruit, American University of Cairo, University of Jordan (Amman), and a school in Rhamallah (Palestine/Israel). While it may not seem like it, these are some intense schools. Not quite Harvard or Oxford, more like, Duke and Notre Dame style. So it IS possiable, and I'm banking a lot on them wanting an American there to preech to for a while.
Option 2: If I don't make those grad school, I'm staying here for one more year or so and getting my teaching credential first, then applying to grad schools within the country.

Again, talking to some people on the grad school fronts, there are a couple programs i could get into easily, (like Davis aprentley), and just go through. Also, there's an option to skip the masters and go for Phd directly. Typaicly for history/poly sci the grad school process is a little quicker than most depending on what i want. So, we will see.

Anyway, most the folks i know up here have gone home for summer. So my days are spent reading my books, drinkin my wine, and trying to get through these retarded summer school classes =).

Take it easy everyone, I'll be back in So Cali for 6 weeks on Jul. 6th.
