I was bored... reading on elctoral law (REALLY BORED).. and realized... California votes are less important than small state votes... so the reading states.
Cali has a population roughly of 34,000,000... and 55 Elctoral votes.
=618,181.8 per elctoral vote
Wyoming has a total population of about 500,000 (cows not included)... and 3 elctoral votes
=166,666.7 per elctoral vote.
Small states gain an advantage in presidential elections. A clifornia vote is not as highly valued as a wyoming vote =). I mean in about 226 years.. only 2 elections have resulted in popular vote having a different canadite winning than the electoral vote. It's just interesting to wonder.. if all votes are equal, why not elect directly from the populas. Insted of hinging elections on Ohio and Penn. =).
