I was surfing through puuba this evening. Looking at all the old articles and archives etc. And i came acorss the the old "staff" page, as well as other assorted pictures.

Crap, that was just yesterday, why do we look so young?

So asks this 90 year old in training.

I guess it's what happins when you fire up a cup of coffe and stand on a balcony and listen and watch the rain fall around you. You reminice about things. Seeing pictures of us back in high school, the birth of puuba... which was Dan's 10th grade history project... that became a DBZ tape trading sight... and then evolved into so much more. We were... 16? About 6 years ago.

6 years. Almost four yeas since high school graduation. Amazing. I look at myself, at Danny, and Alena, and... everyone was so young.

Not to say we're old but, when you can look at a picture and notice an actual age change from photo to present, it's scary.

Think of everything that's happind between then and now. The ups the downs, pros and cons. When every weekend was an olly party, or jousting. Where we sat around the fire and made up songs about burning danny heh. Golden times. Driving around, everyone singing, hanging out at forrest cove, or everyone chilling at collecters. Busting in on Lu.. "GO...AWAY....NOW.." Abducting Danny in a parking lot, Alisha's drunken antics, and the moments with each other.

Now it seems things are harder. We're all scattered throughout the country, things are rocky between people, and a lot of that careless innocence has been lost to more serious overtones.

I guess that's life. We grow up, we "mature," we become what we hated in high school. It's the order of things.

But I remeber talking to Alena last year around this time... and in her busy little world she managed to say, "Sometimes you've just got to joust and throw cake all over each other and drive home top less"

Amen to that.
