And so it rains..

I completly forgot it was suposed to rain this week. I was sitting here in my room doing some reading... and I heard it outside my window.

And it got me thinking of that time I walked through the pouring rain to see me "fickel friend."

Then I thought... "wow...that was a long time ago."

I remeber it clear as day. I had already planed to go walking it the rain, like I always have, but I talked to her on the phone and she had asked me not to go.

I miedtly I knew where I was heading... stright to see her.

And I didn't just walk... I RAN with elation and joy. Lightning cracked across the sky and the thunder was louder than I can remember. Withing 5 minuets I was soaked head to toe.

I called her when I was about two houese away, and she came out. I think she knew I was coming...and she was happy to see me I think. hehe.

How long ago that seems, and how much has happind since then. The ups the downs and everything inbetween.

So many memories of this, almost fairy tale romance.

I sit back and in the rain I can see her smile, and hear her laugh. But most importantly, sense her presecne. A presence that I've not been privlidge to feel in the last week or so due to her school, my work, her work etc. But this weekend, looks to be another chapter in this golden story.

And even though the rain, and the dark, I can remeber what it's like... how her voice calms me... and how her spirit drives me.... through the rain...her lasting impression, that will be with me.
